From Innovation to Regulation, the Grocery Innovations Canada show has it all.
Did you have a chance to visit the Grocery Innovations Canada show in Toronto? I had the pleasure of attending the trade show yesterday and what an event! In addition to reconnecting with industry colleagues and friends and building new business partnerships, it was inspiring to see the impressive line up of successfully commercialized innovations. The winning innovation for me was the TASSIMO McCafe coffee – utterly delicious, even when it cooled! Other highlights included the new meatless chicken offerings from Sol Cuisine, the good for you salad dressings from Fresh Dress and the cookies and chocolate offerings from Mondelez that kept their booth hopping with activity. FCPC provided valuable information on their Nutrition Facts Education Campaign, I learned more about the ‘Recall Ready’ program that GS1 offers and discussed EDI at length with DiCentral. Congratulations to Kraft who won the award for “Best Booth”. Look forward to seeing all of the new offerings in store!
