How to get out of a slump!
Want to pull yourself out of a slump? Find some inspiring new people – but don’t just get ‘inspired’…take ACTION and do something new and different as a result.
Here’s how:
1) Identify someone either personally or professionally who has a skill or approach to life that you want
2) Learn from them, model them, ask them what they read, what inspires them, who they look up to
3) Pick 1-3 things from this information to take ACTION on – make sure the action causes a bit of discomfort – remember the idea is to get out of this slump!
4) Take note of how you feel on day 1 – write it down – in as much detail as you can – as you go through the next 7 days of consistently taking this new action, make notes and then look back to day 1 and identify the changes.
5) Stick with it – studies show it can take from 21 – 90 days for a new action to stick. But a change of 1% a day results in 365% change in a year – that’s massive!!!
